The Skills Indaba 2019 is taking place on 31st October – 1st November 2019 at Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth and is set to be the skills development sectors’ largest meeting, dedicated to finding solutions for high levels of skills deficiency and unemployment in South Africa seen as an urgent need that requires swift intervention.

The INDABA is dedicated to influencing and assisting youth and students to align their career choices and skill sets with local and global demand. It is also designed to unlock the potential for a young and highly skilled workforce and equip employers with the right incentives to drive up our economy through skill acceleration.

This Indaba will examine the impact technological disruptions will have on jobs and work up to 2020 in key industries. It seeks to bring clarity to this debate through the dissemination of accessible, balanced and sector-specific knowledge and to develop actionable insights to help business and governments manage these shifts.

This event is a unique opportunity for your organisation to connect with leaders in the sector who want to work with a variety of organisations in government and private sectors. The Skills Development Indaba’s organizing committee is committed to engaging with delegates through an energising and informative program of speakers, and facilitating networking and business opportunities for sponsors through interactive exhibition and dynamic program.
